DC MOTOR – ALTERNATOR

a) DC shunt / compound motor – 5HP or 7.5HP / 220V / 1500 RPM coupled to 3KVA or 5 KVA / 415V / 50Hz / 1500 RPM three phase non salient or salient pole alternator mounted on powder coated MS channel with coupling guard and antivibration pads.

b) Screen printed polycarbonate panel of size 2 feet X 4 feet enclosed in a powder coated MS box consists of MCB, indicators, fuses, DC starter, toroidal type field rheostats, digital tachometer, digital voltmeters to measure armature voltage and alternator voltage, digital ammeters to measure armature current, alternator current and field current and digital frequency meter. Single phase 3 pin 5A AC supply socket with switch and fuse are provided on the panel to switch on any electrical or electronics instruments.
