Experimental setup to study load characteristics of a DC Motor.
This experimental setup consists of:
a) Solid yoke 3(or)5 hp/220V/1500rpm DC shunt motor with friction type loading arrangement with powder coated frame, brake drum with water facility, 2 spring balances with adjustable screws capable of applying 125% of rated torque. The assembly is supplied with suitable belt and mounted on anti vibration pads.
b) Screen printed polycarbonate panel board enclosed in powder coated MS frame consisting of MCB, indicators, HRC fuses, 0-220V DC drive, digital voltmeter, digital ammeter and digital tachometer.
