Experimental setup to study the load characteristics of three phase squirrel cage induction motor

The experimental setup consists of:

a) Three phase squirrel cage induction motor 5HP/415V/1440rpm with mechanical loading arrangement consisting of aluminium pulley, 2 spring balances with adjustable screw rod mechanism to apply torque. The entire setup is mounted on a powder coated MS frame with antivibration pads.

b) Screen printed polycarbonate panel board enclosed in powder coated MS frame consisting of MCB, indicators, HRC fuses, DOL started, digital multifunction meter and a digital tachometer.
