Study of an electromechanical over current relay.
This kit consists of an ALSTOM make electromechanical over current relay . The relay connections are brought to front panel through terminals. The kit is provided with a current source capable of supplying upto 20A current. A digital AC ammeter is provided to indicate current and time interval meter is provided to measure the time taken for the relay to trip. A switch is provided to switch between setting the relay and testing the relay. Indicators are provided.
