Study of an electromechanical over voltage relay.
This unit consists of ALSTOM make electromechanical over voltage relay. The relay connections are brought out to front panel through terminals. The kit is provided with a voltage source capable of supplying a voltage of upto 500V. A digital AC voltmeter is provided to indicate voltage and a time interval meter is provided to measure the time taken by the relay to trip. A switch is provided to switch between setting and testing the relay. Indicators are provided.
