Study of a Series Inverter.
This unit consists of 2SCRs, 2 diodes and LC commutation components interconnected to form modified series inverter. All the devices are mounted on a suitable heat sink and protected by snubber circuit and fuse. All the connections are brought out to the front panel. Firing circuit to vary the frequency from 100Hz to 500Hz by using given potentiometer.
