Universal motor controller using TRIAC or SCR.
This unit consists of 1 TRIAC, 2 SCRs and 3 diodes. The devices are mounted on heated sink and provided with snubber protection. Motor controller circuit can be constructed is different configurations by using SCRs or TRIAC in conjunction with the diodes. A fuse and MCB are provided as protection. Ammeter and voltmeter are provided to indicate current and voltage. A firing circuit is provided to change the firing angle via a potentiometer.
Entire setup is enclosed in a powder coated MS box.
